This appointment was rather uneventful, as it should be. I came prepared with hours of reading material (based on previous experience of waiting) and didn't have to wait at all. The nurse found the heartbeat right away with the Doppler. It averaged 140 beats per minute, lower than in the past. Dr. Phillips asked a few questions, we discussed the quad screen (which we declined), and basically I was on my way! I was so thankful to have no serious side effects, symptoms, or concerns to report. Next month, ultrasound!
